Beginning in 2025, the standard deduction was increased for Single people from $15,000 to $15,750; Head of Household from $22,500 to $23,650, and Married filing a joint return from $30,000 to $31,500. The Standard deduction has been made permanent. Personal exemptions for self, spouse, and dependents have been permanently eliminated.
